The Evolution of Zedcarz Group


Founded in 1992 by Zed Juneja, Zedcarz was created to redefine the private hire industry with a focus on reliability and customer service. Starting with just three vehicles at Tolworth Station, Zedcarz quickly gained a reputation for excellence and expanded its fleet to over 30 vehicles within two years.


In 2009, Zedcarz made its first acquisition, Albert Cars, a reliable provider in Walton. This marked the beginning of a strategic expansion. In 2010, Maxi Cars, Surrey’s largest private hire company, and Jubilee Cars, specialising in airport transfers, were added to the group.


Zedcarz continued to grow with acquisitions of Palace Cars in 2012, Green Leaf Transportation in 2013, and Mogul Cars and Oak Market Group in 2016, expanding its services to eco-friendly transport and community-focused solutions.


The group further expanded with Saxon Cars in 2018, Crown Cars in 2019, and Travelsure in 2022. In 2023, Conquest Cars was acquired, and in 2024, Rays Executive Drive, specialising in luxury chauffeur services, joined the group.


Today, Zedcarz is a leading provider of transportation and logistics, built on a foundation of strategic growth and a commitment to exceptional service.

    Acquired in 2018, Saxon Cars was one of Surrey’s top executive private hire companies. Originally founded in 1987 as Ladybirds, the company initially specialised in providing services with female drivers. Over time, the company rebranded and transitioned from Ladybirds to Saxon Cars, expanding its offerings to cater to a broader range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals and large corporate clients.
