Halloween – What To Do?
October 15th 2016
Okay, so we know if you’re reading this you probably are a bit too old to go trick-or-treating. That doesn’t mean the fun stops for us adults!
Firstly, take the kids out and about on Halloween. It’s great to let them dress up and get into costume but be sure to stay safe at all times.
It’s darker earlier now and so opt for our friendly, professional private hire Taxi service when you need to get around safely.
If you fancy doing something a little bit different this halloween, we’ve put together a few ideas for fun things to do up and down the country.
In Birmingham, there’s a Halloween Street Food Festival featuring DJ stars Craig Charles (the one from Corrie) and Joey Negro. An all day event, it’s sure to be loaded with lovely food and markets. We expect a great festival atmosphere in a spooky theme. It’s running Friday 28th and Saturday 29th.
In London, where we assume you probably are, Crofton Park Pictures are showing horrors. The dungeons are a cool place to visit but there’s generally lots happening on Halloween and the clubbing scene will be extremely busy.
Manchester is the home of the Wide Halloween Festival. With 4,000 pumpkin lanterns and a giant robotic spider out on the loose, it’s sure to be good fun. The town hall will be green for halloween and cemetery gates will be erected. How scary! Keep a listen out for the sound effects such as Wolves and Witches screaming, barking and howling. Be sure to get dressed up and join in the fun. It’s running from October 21 to October 31.
For those in Cheshire and Merseyside, Chester Zoo takes a transformation for halloween. It becomes a mysterious wonderland, and is a one of a kind event. An evil sorcerer will cast a spell over nocturnal animals. It sounds really scary. The Zoo will host performers, musicans and acrobats and will run from 22nd October to 31st October.
Whatever you chose to do, have fun and stay safe. ZedCarz are always there for your private hire taxi needs when you need us.
